Split Conduit application:

Pvc split conduit is used in vehicle electrical installations to provide:

  • A method of rapid assembly of the vehicle wiring harness reducing the need for insulation tape
  • To keep wires together
  • Flexible
  • To provide protection of wiring insulation against abrasion
  • Cosmetic appearance

    • Fitting notes:

    If split pvc conduit is used on wiring looms that run from the exterior of the vehicle body to the interior the split conduit can act as a route for water ingress so adequate precautions for sealing any cable entry points should be ensured.
