Always route high tension ignition cables to avoid chaffing of insulation against moving parts of the engine.

Take care when working on HT ignition systems , High voltages will be present during system operation which can cause electric shock.

High Tension Ignition Cable is used on classic vehicles with contact breaker or more modern cars with electronic ignition distributor

1.To transport high voltage between ignition coil secondary output and distributor cap .

2. To transport HT voltage between ignition distributor cap and spark plugs.

HT Ignition cable can be used to make up short test leads where a coil on plug type ignition coil is used to enable access to the HT secondary circuit during testing of ignition system voltage kV (Kilovolts).
