site fitting service for reverse warning
alarms in local areas at additional cost.
Reverse warning alarms are normally wired into the
reversing light circuit in cases where the circuit
wiring is sufficiently substantial to allow for the
extra load of the alarm bleeper. Certain vehicles
may require fitment of an additional relay to allow
the reversing alarm circuit fitment.
Vehicles
entering noise sensitive areas may require fitment
of an additional switch to disengage the reversing
alarm to prevent nuisance.
Night silent reversing
alarms are normally supplied with a feed from the
sidelights circuit to a deactivation wire which then
turns off the reverse alarm if the vehicles
sidelights are switched on.
Visual Reverse Warning
Reversing lights not
only provide assistance to the driver in hours of
darkness but also give an indication to persons
adjacent to the vehicle that reverse gear has been
engaged by the driver and the vehicle is likely to
move.
